On The Radar Screen

Before IDT was even on most peoples radar screen, it was happening. What the media is now calling IDT was then called credit card fraud, and bank fraud (and it still is). The shortfall of understanding on this crime is the media, and therefore the general think that CCF/ BF is all IDT is. Myself and others within the industry are working to correct the misconceptions and disinformation. Stay tuned.

    Mark,

    I assume that you are at issue with referring to credit card fraud as Identity Theft. Card fraud is certainly a huge issue but it's a far cry from identity theft.

    I cringe when I even hear to the phrase "victim of credit card fraud" when referring to a card holder. You're not much of a victim when all you have to do is contact the banks to get all your money back.
